Life waits for no man.

Life waits for no man. Sheesh. I have been a busy gal! Keeping up with my full time work and editing and loving all these beautiful pictures! That senior photo shoot was a great time! I am loving getting those pictures all edited to share with that graduate! :) 

This handsome young man did great! He was such a good sport and made this so easy! Made the shots come out better that I could have anticipated! 

As for me as of late? Well, I made my trip down to see my man this past weekend! //(I'm still peeling skin from my forehead as we speak) What a beautiful time it turned out to be! I need to migrate to be by a beach, yesterday would be preferable. :)

Life is such a beautiful thing. These pictures help me remember that. 

Busy Life!

Life has this amazing way of passing you by without even a wave. Goodness I have been busy. Mostly good things, of course. I'm excited to announce that I have been working pretty hard and getting some shoots in! I did a horse show, which was a lot, but a lot of fun too! Most recently, though, and most exciting is the senior shoot that I did today! So much fun! My model was strutting his stuff! :) I'm excited to share those things with you as I get them edited! :)

I'm so excited to get the rest of these up! :) yay! 

Exciting day!

Apart from my usual issues of misfortune that tends to happen in my chaotic life, today was productive. We went and shot a horseshow today. Lots of fun! Beautiful and magnificent horses we were lucky enough to take pictures of! Lots to do! I'll be posting my favorites!!!

So let me tell you about this dog..

So this is Gunner. This is that dog who keeps me on my toes like you wouldn't believe. My favorite stories will be shared now. 

*Gunner is an adopted dog. On our drive, the song Home, by Philip Phillips came on. This will forever be my song with my puppy. 

*This dog has jumped out of a moving cars window, jumped off a roof, killed a bat, pooped on a poodles head, and successfully stolen my heart time and time again. 

He is my sweet puppy who is smarter than he lets on, and his favorite game is the run away from mommy, then whine like crazy till I find him. 

My dog saved my life. 

I'm such a sap.

Wedding shots.

I don't necessarily mean the shots that are chased down with limes or that you regret in the morning. (though those did happen on these occasions too) oy.  But I have had the pleasure of being the photographer for two weddings. What a beautiful experience! Capturing the love that's shared between two people. Such a fun time. I just want to share SOME of those photos with you!!

I said that I like to take pictures, so I feel like I should start throwing my photos in your face. We will start with a couple Christmas favorites... Why not right? I mean it is may. Clearly that means its time for Christmas catch up! 

I know.. I know.. I have already pushed it to the limit. I just cant help it! :)

This is the start!

I've never had a blog before.. and I'm not sure how good I will be at this. But I think it might be the best way to express myself! :) Let me start by explaining some things about me. I am currently in New York state. I love to take pictures. There is just something so magical about seeing the world through a lens and capturing the brief, beautiful moments that make life so special. I am a DIY-er and like to get my creative juices flowing! Don't be surprised if you see a lot of post about my dumpster diving adventures, and how I refurbished a helpless piece of furniture. I am also a mother of a rambunctious 2 year old black lab named Gunner, who is forever keeping me on my toes. He will be the topic of conversation most I'm sure. I hope you enjoy this as much as I will! Thanks! :)
